Matrixport Background

Matrixport is a Singapore-based financial services platform that specializes in digital asset management and cryptocurrency services. It’s a spinoff from the crypto giant Bitmain and was officially established in February 2019.

The digital currencies traded on its platform include Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether, USD Coin and many others. Matrixport was co-founded by Jihan Wu and John Ge, both mining industry veterans and co-founders of Bitmain.

Matrixport aims to be a one-stop platform for individuals and institutions to manage their digital assets and access various financial services related to cryptocurrencies.
